| Central Finland
Region The Central Finland has the historical legacy for a high level of skills
and education. In the University of Jyväskylä there are seven
faculties, including the only Faculty of Sports and Health Science in
Finland and a Continuation Education centre. The polytechnic is multidisciplinary.
The Adult Education Centre also offers continuous training. Central Finland has strong sub-regions and municipal centres in its countryside. Youthfulness, know-how and cultural variety are distinctive of the area and increase the attractiveness of the region. The seasons offer varying potential for nature tourism in the area.
